FinGov Tool is a web-based governance and audit application designed for microfinance institutions (MFIs). It enables compliance diagnostics based on recognized standards, results analysis, and improvement plan management.

FinGov Tool is designed for MFIs (Microfinance Establishments), umbrella organizations (Faitières) that supervise multiple MFIs, as well as consultants and internal auditors working in this sector.

The tool covers 45 general standards and up to 19 complementary standards depending on the institution's legal form, organized into 6 governance pillars: Strategy, Organization, Control, Human Resources, Compliance and Performance.

Each standard is evaluated along two dimensions: the formal aspect (documentation and regulatory compliance) and the factual aspect (actual field application). The final score reflects the governance maturity level of the institution.

Results are accessible based on assigned rights: the MFI administrator sees their own audits, the umbrella organization administrator accesses their affiliated MFIs' audits, and the Super Admin oversees the entire platform.

Yes. All data is stored on secure servers with strict role-based access control. Communications are encrypted and every action is tracked in an activity log.
